Challenge
Through field research in Dehradun, the project identified significant gaps in sanitary waste disposal. Used sanitary products were often mixed with general waste due to the lack of proper disposal methods, awareness, and segregation systems, creating hygiene risks for users, sanitation workers, and the environment.
Solution
Designed a holistic waste management system featuring the Red Drop Bag, improved packaging, and a dedicated sanitary waste collection compartment to enable safe disposal and efficient segregation.
